Home Sales Higher Despite Market

Despite market trends nationwide, Tucson home sales showed some real promise for September. Traditionally September sales for the Tucson real estate market is lower than August by a significant amount. in fact, traditionally homes sales in Tucson for September are 18% lower than August sales. Not this September, without all the data in sales only dropped 2% from August.

I predicted only 750 sales for September nearly a year ago. Was I wrong. Even though this is a preliminary report and the official tally won’t be gathered Friday with an official report in a few weeks, Tucson real estate has already exceeded that mark by over 19%. That’s right, 896 homes have sold for September. That’s 146 more home sales than expected. Good news for Tucson home Sellers.
