New Home Construction, Is It For You?
There is so much real estate available in Tucson, it is hard to decide whether to buy a resale home or buy a new home. Now that I have joined new home sales, I have thought a lot about the 
benefits. The first is for me, the view from my desk is spectacular. As I look out the window I see the beauty of the Sonoran desert surrounding the neighborhood. There are hundreds of mature Saguaro cacti along the mountain side here.
New home construction allows you as the buyer to make choices you cannot make with a resale home. Thinks like color of tile, how much tile, kitchen and bath cabinets, appliance color, lighting fixtures, extending or not extending the garage, and a ton of more options.
I have to say, I am picky about new home builders. There are some out there I wouldn’t let build an Out House, let alone a home to live in. I checked out Sierra Pacific Homes before accepting a position in site sales. I looked at the quality of material used in construction. All good quality. I have seen some from competitors that make good kindling for a fireplace.
Then comes features offered. For thousands less than the competition these homes have more to offer. Come on, only $180 for upgrading the insulation in the ceiling. The electrical bill in the first summer will cover that. Executive height counters in the master bath for only $60. Antique nickel door hardware package for only $85. That all leaves money to go 
ahead and get the full length patio and slab for $3,545. You can add another $5,000 in upgrades and still be under $200,000 for a brand new three bedroom home. For buyers looking for larger homes with larger lots, the Sonoita Ranch location is what you’ve been waiting for.
