Jim and Linda Livengood Toys For Tots Golf Tournament

Join Jim and Linda Livengood in helping lots of children have a good Christmas while enjoying a round of golf. They have raised 10’s of thousands of dollars for this needy cause over the past seven years. As the University of Arizona Athletic Director since 1994, Jim has lead a successful campaign to bring the U of A national recognition. Jim and Linda’s campaign to support our US Marines in making Christmas more enjoyable for children of need is commendable.

As the eighth annual tournament, this promises to be more fun than previous tournaments. The previous seven years saw players enjoy the Forty Niners Golf Course, San Ignacio Golf course, and for the past five years the Arizona National Golf Course; home of the Wildcat Men and Women’s golf teams. Teams with famous alumni like Ana Sorenstein, Jim Furyk, and Lorena Ochoa. Enjoy the challenge of one of Tucson’s greatest mountain courses. Enjoy the spectacular views of the valley before you. If you have never played this course, you are in for a thrill.

Feel proud when you contribute to help the US Marines in their Toys For Tots fund drive. What a good way to head into the holiday weeks and know that you made a child’s day on Christmas morning.

Enjoy a fun tournament with VIP Foursomes with a fifth celebrity player. Meet some of Tucson’s most notable figures. Mayor Bob Walkup, radio celebrity Alan Michaels, radio celebrity Max, TV reporter Bud Foster, Phil Buehler, Todd Kunz, weatherman Jimmy Stewart, TV reporters Heather Rowe and Dan Marries to name a few.

The theme for 2007 is Hawaiian. With a Hawaiian buffet following the match.

Foursome $380 - includes 18 holes, lunch and post event luau reception, and tee gift for four players
VIP Foursome $500 - includes foursome and tee sign, lunch and post event luau reception. VIP foursomes include a fifth player - a UA Coach, a media personality or other local celebrity.
