Heritage Highlands Golf Course and Country Club

Heritage Highlands Golf Course is nestled within the Heritage Highlands gated adult community as part of the Dove Mountain master community. This fairly forgiving golf course offers both pleasure and challenge. Enjoy the wild life as you play; javelina, coyote, quail, and rabbits. Even the driving range is spectacular. Members of the Heritage Highland community can enjoy regularly scheduled play for both men and women of every level of ability. Thursdays are member only days. The rest of the week the course is open to the public.

Founded in 1997 and designed by Arthur Hills this course has an interesting mixture of wide as well as challenging fairways. Homes along this course have spectacular views. Some include beyond the fairways mountain view, valley views, and sunset views. If you have never seen and Arizona sunset, you will be thrilled with the beauty of the colorful sky as the sun slips beneath the horizon.

Heritage Highlands  ranges from 6904 yards for the Rattler tee boxes with a rating/slope of 72.2/139 down t the Hummingbird with 4716 yards and 66.9/118 rating/slope. The signature hole is the par 4 Arthur’s Hill 313 yard 13th hole. The narrow fairway of the 13th and hidden elevated green makes this a challenging hole. The 12th hole is the majestic hole with the waterfall to the entry of the community sitting above the green. The most forgiving holes are holes 1, 2, and 3. The more challenging holes are the 13th with its tight fairway and the 14th with its long carry from the tee.

Though this course in on the foothills of the Tortalita Mountains it is not a target course like Starr Pass. Nor is it a course like Randolph that has very little elevation. Heritage Highlands is in between. This is a great course to enjoy for your next travel to Tucson.
