Grand Valley Golf Course
Grand Valley Golf course lies 40 minutes north of Tucson
As you pass through Eloy on your way to Phoenix or Casa Grande from Tucson you will see the Grand Valley Golf Course along the way. I have passed by this golf course hundreds of times on my travels to an from Phoenix. Curiosity settles in every time I pass by.
Curiosity no more. Today my son and daughter-in-law invited me to play the Grand Valley Course with them. This is the same course I mentioned in my blog Here’s A Quick Way to Help Make-A-Wish Foundation and Play Golf. Now I can enjoy the tournament having played this wonderful course.
Before going I down-loaded the course on my SkyCaddie®. What a good decision. My 58 degree wedge was on target more than once. Not to mention that par 4 where I hit the green to lie 2 with a 4 iron. Laying up and not overshooting a dog leg was another benefit. Enough on SkyCaddie®.
The fairways were great, and the greens were challenging. However, the greens were easy to read and 1 putts were common. Six to be exact.
Staff were friendly. Sean, Derrick, Frank, and Holly made everyone feel welcome. Service that many other businesses could learn from. Thank guys and gal.
Grand Valley Golf Course is definitely worth the 40 minute drive north of Tucson.

It would be quiet funny if perhaps one of my baseball players walked up to the plate with a SkyCaddie and checked the wind direction before he got ready to hit. Good luck with your golf game!

Derek - Thank you. I never thought of it that way. I wonder if there is anything like that for a pitcher or hitter? Imagine an out fielder having a gizmo to measure velosity and angle of a well hit ball? Wonder what it would do to the game?
All I know as a high handicapper is I don’t like guessing how far it is to the green. SkyCaddie makes the game more enjoyable, for me anyway.
