Old News Bright Future For Golfers and Golf Fans
Old news with a bright future. In February Tucson welcomed World Golf Championship’s Accenture Match Play at the Gallery South Golf Course.
Jack Nicklaus was in town for the inaugural Tucson event and announced the development of a Jack Nicklaus designed Dove Mountain II course for future tournaments.
Tucson El Conquistadors labored to insure that the event was a success. Their experience with prior year’s Chrysler Classics aided in the experience needed to pull off the largest golf event of Tucson. The El Conquistadors are also responsible to youth development through the First Tee program in Tucson.
Throughout the year there are numerous tournaments and events. Dave Pelz holds annual putting camps at Arizona National Golf Course. This is the place to be for golfing information.
